Variable Speed Rebuilds

If you are wanting to remove the spring sheave (the sheave in the picture above) and bring/ship to myself I will only charge $110.00 (LABOR) to inspect, rebuild and clean the entirety of the sheave.

The parts cost will be dependent on whether there is damage and/or wear to bigger components such as sheave halves and walking keyway grooves. The cost will also rise with brass bushings vs the original Nylon/Plastic bushings.

Note: if you buy a complete new assembly which is very pricey, they will come with new brass bushings installed. A way you Should be able to tell if someone has installed brass bushings into your sheave already is that there should be YELLOW 10 HR stickers on the assembly VS the old 100HR blue stickers. However, you can always rely on that because some people forget or choose not to install the stickers for whatever reason.

It is crucial to grease the new brass bushings 10X more often.
